Update Following Hurricane Beryl

We want to thank everyone who has expressed their concerns for the people of Bequia effected by Hurricane Beryl.

The damage and devastation our Grenadine island neighbours have suffered is truly saddening and we would like to express our profound sympathy for those whose lives, livelihoods and properties have been so utterly devastated.

All our team are safe and deserve immense praise and thanks for their commitment and hard work to ensure everyone remained safe and that our property was prepared and able to withstand the storm. These efforts came at a time when their own families and communities were at risk.

While we work on returning Sandrock to normal operations over the next few weeks, we are conscious that everyone in our local communities have responsibility for their friends and family and priorities of their own.

Sandrock was incredibly fortunate as the majority of the damage was superficial. We did sustain some damage to our landscapes, beachfront area and sadly our beloved jetty has gone. Clean-up is already well underway but the beachfront repairs will take a little time.

We will keep you updated with progress and aim to be fully open by late July.

Most of all however, our thoughts, prayers and support are with those that are most in need.
